We are excited that you are considering Saddleback Church's beautiful Rancho Capistrano venue for your special day. We are committed to working with you to see that your wedding is pleasing to God, memorable and personal. May God continue to bless you as you look to Him for guidance regarding this important event.
Our desire is to help you plan a day that is honoring to God as well as a wonderful romantic celebration of the love the two of you share. Now that you have chosen to commit yourselves to one another, we encourage you to make and keep Christ the center of your engagement, your marriage and your home.
Believing that marriage is a holy and sacred gift from God, it is our desire that couples approach marriage according to biblical standards, and in a way that is pleasing to God. You must meet the following requirements to host your wedding ceremony and/or reception at Rancho Capistrano.
- Must be a member of Saddleback Church
- Be equally yoked, both having a committed relationship to Christ
- Not be sexually intimate
- Not living together
- Successful completion of our Premarital Counseling program, or a Saddleback approved premarital counseling program.
Additionally....
- You must have already been in for your premarital counseling interview before we can book your wedding date. The link to obtain the forms and start the process can be found HERE. You can submit the completed forms directly to Sue Blagg at sueb@saddleback.com, who will then contact you to schedule your initial interview.
- A Saddleback Pastor must perform your wedding ceremony.
- Rancho Capistrano is an alcohol free venue.
- You are required to contract with one of our preferred rental companies to provide all tables, chairs and linens; as well as any additional rentals including lighting, heaters, umbrellas, and dance floors, etc.
- You are required to contract with one of our preferred full-service catering companies (or one that is pre-appoved). If you do not hire a full-service caterer, you will also then be required to hire additional party/wait staff to provide any services that are not provided by the caterer.
- You are also required to provide your own audio visual / sound system and technician for both the ceremony and the reception.
- We will provide you with a list of Saddleback approved vendors to help you make your selections.
